Reggie was always one of the main gang but his character is not even mentioned in the initial reviews so unless some plot twist is in there I'm betting he murdered the guy. He was always a smuck anyway and probably jealous of being left in the wings while Jughead and Betty and veronica got all the attention. Or maybe it was the Groovie Ghoulies? They were a shifty bunch
