Dammit. Time to eat crow.

I'm still not entirely sold on this yet. But I think I can give it more of an open minded chance. Watching some interviews with Cole Sprouse has changed my mind, at least a little. I had no idea that Sprouse had worked in a comic shop and that he's a huge comic book fan. The guy has a real love for this property, as I always have. His description of how the show is going to be has made me actually think it could be decent, if not all together good. And it pains me to say that my mind was changed by someone who was on The Suite Life.

Still not sure about some of the casting choices, but again, trying to keep an open mind. Not easy when you hit forty,

So far it has also been getting good reviews.

This is looking like the guilty pleasure to end all guilty pleasures.

You got that right. I just watched the premiere, and wow. Yeah, it hit the notes that all of the teen soaps hit, but I really found myself enjoying it. I'm going to grab all of the Mark Waid books I can find next time I hit my local comic shop, since it sounds like they based a lot of this show on his run. Could have used more Jughead, since he was always my favorite character, but I know he'll play a bigger part as it goes on.
