Enjoyed the pilot, any book recommendations on something similar?

Enjoyed the pilot more than I thought I would.

Looking for a new book/series to read and I think I'm up for something similar to this show. Some drama, murder, romance and mystery that isn't overtly teeny.

Any recommendations

Literally ANY teen fiction...seeing as this show is so cookie cutter anyway.

Nearly Gone by Elle Cosimano

It is centered around a high school, but basically when students begin getting killed at a highschool this girl notices that cryptic clues are being left by the killer in the personal ads of her local newspaper. It's a drama with murder, romance, and a mystery. And I believe there's at least 2 books.
