Not bad. Not great. Decent!

I liked the slow pace, the opening, the black priest almost being shot by his fellow priest, the father being disabled, and the twist was pretty good!

I actually didn't expect the twist and was surprised by it, though I found the rat eating a little over the top.

This will never be anywhere close to as good as the original movie, or even Exorcist 3 for that matter, but I think it will be decent enough for a TV show on FOX, and I'll continue to tune in, because I like the story and the characters seem OK so far!

The music could be toned down a bit though, more like the original, but this was expected for a show.

Unfortunately this is on FOX, not on HBO or Showtime where we don't get interrupted with commercials.
