shareThe only thing that's putting me off is the drab bluish-gray color palette. But other than that, I'm down for it.
As fun as it looks though, I have to say, Rob Cohen's career seems to not exactly be in the best place these days. He was once a hot commodity after making Dragon, F&F and xXx, but now he seems to just be a has-been director-for-hire who's mostly just targeted for low-budget projects that most moviegoers probably won't care about.
I don't mind the color palette.
The only movies directed by Rob Cohen that I liked are Daylight and Dragonheart. And even those are quite mediocre but fun to watch.
I could have sworn that he directed Reign Of Fire but I was checking his filmography on imdb and I was surprised to see that he didn't direct that one.
This looks sort of like a syfy movie but with a bigger budget and better actors. I like that Kwanten guy. If this doesen't take itself too seriously it could turn out to be a fun ride.
