So basically anyone who doesn't want to watch this show is racist then, correct? It's not possible to not like the premise or not be interested in this particular show. If you're white and don't like a show or movie with a black lead, you are racist. Wow, you see racism where none exists and might want to look in the mirror to see a racist.
I'll lay out a few things and really don't care if you believe it or not. I love Denzel Washington, even in parts like Gray Grantham where the book character was white and it actually was part of the plotting. Denzel was quite simply perfect in the part. And I'd listen to Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones read the phone book. I can't stand Jack Nicholson, but tolerated him to watch The Bucket List. So race an issue for me? No.
I don't intend to watch this because sometimes it's best to let things end, rather than trying to recreate something magic. I feel the same way about several series or movies, like MacGyver. I'd really love some of the show creators to come up with new ideas or at least variations on ideas, rather than rehashing the same thing. And that's why I decided not to watch this.
