Eric's "Fam"...

Is that an accurate portrayal of any drug dealers?

Seriously... it's just that any of them I've seen caught, in the news, etc, seem a lot less, shall we say, business-like.

Not that I'm an expert as to what urban drug cartel personnel dress, speak and act like. But this didn't smack of realism...

As language goes, in the real would there is almost NO WAY a white audience would be able to make out what they were saying. African American thugs do not speak in complete sentences with anything close to proper grammar or English words, and definitely not getting on network TV. A closer example of what a greeting would looks like:

"So, my *beep* think he gonna back to the hood. You is not welcome."

I watch in subtitles and I saw finna used lol
They have to use such stereotypical I guess personas for the character.
Eric as a black African American has a different style he ain't like them at all.
Which is great since he is the new type of main character in this show.

Just wish they hadn't introduced the drug dealer brother crap in the first place. Most of us don't know any drug dealers, let alone want to watch anything about them. Bad move.
