To be fair, we don't know the mole is at CTU. There were two other people who could have leaked the Ranger team info, and the other two weren't involved with CTU directly.

On the other hand, it's like Kiefer Sutherland saying "dammit." It's tradition. 

(Also like the show House, when every single week one of the interns would suggest the Disease of the Week could be Lupus.)

That's who I originally suspected but it doesn't seem plausible now. Still............. this is CTU where st least one mole is required.

It wouldn't be 24 if there wasn't at least some sort of red herring

The format, cliches and tropes in this are what make it feel like 24 - other than that - it's your typical terrorism show
