Horrible writing for the star.....and same old unbelievable bad guys

Spoilers.

1) Horrible first impression for the supposed hero of the show.

- Girlfriend saves them by making a noise, going for the gun in the safe.

- Hero just all of a a sudden loses the CHIP he has in his hands, and it falls back into the hands of the messed-up soldier.

- it just takes a bullet to sever a chain that is hoisting a several ton pipe, which is literally not possible. not even close. ....and conveniently it rolls perfectly down the narrow path, while one of the hitmen terrorists walks into the middle of it.

2) Same old cheesey impossible. 24 plot elements

- a mole within CTU
- student quietly tries to confront a fellow student who is a potential terrorist and is reluctant to tell anyone else.....tells the teacher it is a personal matter, but the teacher over steps his boundaries and forces him to tell him about what he is already told is a "personal matter". Teacher just happens to be PART OF THE TERROR PLOT LOL.

We let these things slide in the original 24 because Jack Bauer was no chump. But the writing for the new guy.....geez, weak.
