Solid on the whole except for one part...

The storyline in general and the Carter scenes are good and I enjoyed the final shootout/fight scene, only thing letting it down is the plot at the school with the teacher and student planning a terrorist attack, that just seemed more like something you'd see on a CBS procedural rather than 24. A solid opening though, most of the characters seemed decent enough (although Edgar's cousin is nowhere near old enough to have been taught much from him). Hopefully Tony turns up sooner rather than later.

The events of 24 Day 5 took place approx 10-15 years before this season, where we last saw Edgar, the character would have been in her late teens--and seeing as how I learned a lot from my technical relatives in my teens, so can Edgar's cousin.

No, there is a 20 month gap between Day 5 and Day 6. 4 years between Day 6 and Day 7. 18 months between Day 7 and Day 8. 4 years between Day 8 and LAD. And 3 years between LAD and Legacy. That's over 14 years, she'd be very very young.

She looked like she was in her late 20's early 30's. Subract 15 and still old enough to learn from Edgar.

I groaned loudly when I saw the high school scene at first. For some reason I thought it would be some teenage angst stuff. But it turns out to be perhaps even dumber. Oh well lets see before judging too much.
