It has potential, but the lead actor is bad

This show has potential, but Corey Hawkins, who plays the lead character, is just not a good actor. Neither is Anna Diop, who plays his wife. In the scene were we first see them in their house, the dialogue sounds so forced and unnatural. That was never the case in any of the scenes with Kiefer Sutherland

I disagree

Corey did a great job in the first episode. This show has great potential. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode.

What??

He actually turned out pretty good. No he didn't make it look as smoothless as Sutherland but Sutherland had a long time to perfect that role. He's fine now but I imagine he'll only get better in time.

I'm not quite sold on him, either, but I don't consider him "terrible." It's a role we're so used to seeing Kiefer in that I'm willing to give him a chance to see where he goes with it.

Expected to not like it but it wasn't terrible
Maybe the lead will grow on me but looks like he's just left school, for a ranger I'd expect someone a bit more pumped up
Action scenes with him weren't very good
And the bag on the shoulder - just NO!

reply

Not everybody is ripped coming out of Ranger School.

He's not bad, but he's no Keifer.

reply

I thought it was pretty bad, but im not too worried just yet. Plenty of episodes to grow. And he needs to grow, and he needs to have some sort of charisma. While the 24 forumla is very entertaining, I dont think that alone can carry him in the end.

No one would have been better than Keifer. They would have had to get a AAA actor for anyone to out do him.
