I don't think you could shoot a cable and have the pipe roll over the bad guys. The government wouldn't expose all the operators on a clandestine raid and this hit squad wouldn't have all the information and resources they portrayed.

shareI was just asking myself why anyone would have a list of sleeper agents and activation codes on a flash drive that wasn't password protected or at least encrypted or both.
I do understand they appear to be rushing things a bit because in the original the agency spy would not have been discovered so quickly, only after they had done a lot of damage. But they can't afford to do the slow development the original did. So they took some shortcuts to help hold our attention.

The writing seems weak. And they should've used the background actors from Homeland. The bad crew doesn't look right.
