So first & only episode rated 7.2, but whole show 5.1? How?

I didn't even see this show, but that's just odd. Wonder why IMDB allowed for voting even before the show aired? Odd

Typically for highly rated shows, the individual episodes are ranked lower on average than the overall shows score.

But the easy answer here: Haters lowering the score on the show itself, and Fans showing their support on the 1st episode rank
