she said she needed to be at work in an hour [1 pm]? And did she ever call in "sick"?

Eric appeared to be a limo driver, so perhaps had a late shift of some sort

As for Nicole, it's not that uncommon for some people to start work at 1 PM. ANd I think there were a little bit more pressing matters than calling in sick lol

I figured bodyguard, but could be a limo driver. Either way, it's obviously not a 9-to-5 job.

From the uniform she was wearing, she works in a hospital. Working hours in hospitals are not your standard office working hours.

Many hospital shifts start at 3 pm

yeah she looks like she worked at a hospital of some sort. very common to start work after 1 pm or before.

Doesn't matter what he does, it's going to play into the fact that he has to stay up many hours like Jack did his first day
