A true legacy of 24

I know that 80 percent of people who gave Legacy bad grade did that because there is no Jack Bauer. But, if you move past that fact, if you allow yourself to be entertained, you will enjoy the new 24. I watch most of action shows currently on TV, nothing is even close to the excitement of 24. Directors kept the spirit of the original series which was the most important thing.

Some people are complaining that it's the same plot, no it is not. Yes, terrorists are involved, of course they are the main story line because we follow the actions of CTU, Counter Terrorism Unit. The same can be said for every police procedural out there and there are like 10 of them right now.

It's about presentation. 24 Legacy continues with the same speed and thrilling action as the original.

true, but it's the writers, not the directors.

producers hire writers and directors... and the rest of the crew.

directors are given way too much credit for success, and way too much blame for failure.

Exactly. Films are dirctors' domain, while TV series is writers' domain.

First of all. I do not care that Jack Bauer isn't in it. Adding a new actor is a good thing in this case. However the choice is not good, the acting across the board is pretty lame. What really destroys the show is how bad everything else is. The plot is terrible! I've already gone through this too many times already. It's such a cliche and way too generic.

Me too! I never saw the original so I'm entertained. Reminds me of Homeland but the soldiers viewpoint.

Yeah some of us have to work evenings and that was before Hulu or the like.
