stated deadline?
this show was always about "working against the clock" -- nothing here seems time-sensitive outside of a regularly-timed show.
very confusing.
I don't get it. Each 24 season takes place within a 24 hour period, with each episode taking place over the course of an hour, there is no actual deadline just one that fits within 24 hours.
During commercial breaks, that is often the time our heroes and villains will go to the bathroom, take a breakfast, lunch, dinner break, or go for a smoke. Minor plot occurances can happen here as well.
What happens in the show occurs in real-time, there are never separated scenes that occur in parallel like so many other shows, they always follow each other in a real time format.
After Live Another Day it became a free-for-all as to how many episodes there will be for a season... LAD had 8, and this one has almost double but not its namesake.
