I disagree Adam Sandler movies are idiotic with no social message. Tyler Perry movies ALWAYS have a social message. And to Tyler credit he has had a few successful films withou the drag character Madea. The Why Did I Get Married films Madea was in neither yet both movies did well at the box office.
