Why even start over with a season one when it's the

Um, what did you think Degrassi Goes Hollywood and Degrassi Takes Manhattan was supposed to be for the original cast? The send offs. And characters still make returns.
And it's essentially the same show, just with a different name. Like Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High.
None of thos were good send offs and yes that's stupid.
If it's going to be a new show then it needs to be just that. But it's not.
