New trailer

Looks pretty good imo, or at least it looks better than most of the crap that Ridley's put out recently.

I liked the first trailer more (not because of Spacey, but the pace wasn't as frenetic).

This second one with new Plummer footage was a bit too punchy and jumpy for my tastes. However, it may have been done to attract some younger viewers who may usually find these types of movies dull. With the recent Kevin Spacey news and the complete removal of him, Sony may be trying to capitalize on the timing here and getting ppl interested. Removing Spacey cost them money too, so they'd want some of that back.

bbc news just had a segment about this movie on how the moviemakers replaced kevin spacey with christopher plummer, even though everyone seem to agree plummer clearly was more suitable for the role, they first went with spacey because they wanted a big name, how incredibly depressing to hear that's how the movie industry works, makes one lose all credibility and give up hope on watching mainstream flicks, so they slammed a ton of make up on spacey to have him look decades older and appear like silly putty, then they have to cut him out and you get plummer and more quality of a movie, i guess. like i was watching a play made into a movie, you had this one veteran actor dominating the stage, and all around were flavour of the month names getting the big credits, these things makes one admire how hitchcock once made a movie with an unknown cast so they wouldn't distract from the story, george a romero had a similar view point. apparently this movie did not get very delayed.

dont you have a sister or someone to play with,
