Did you watch the trailer or are you just stupid? He's not trying to meet up with some girl he met on facebook and then found out it wasn't her. He's found a whole underground community with a really shady and sketchy history.

I just saw the film last night and the film it most reminded me of was 'Catfish'. Many similarities between the two films.
