Legal age of consent?

What is the legal age of consent in MO? Daisy was 14! The sheriff basically said she consented. I'm certain the youngest age of consent I've heard of anywhere was 16. The 17 year old admitted on tape he had sex with her and gave her alcohol. I know there are cases of boyfriend/girlfriend cases where they are caught having sex at 16/17 and the older one is arrested and prosecuted.

Anyway, this whole movie made me very sad. No one should suffer the way these girls suffered. They are all so brave to stand up and share their stories. What is wrong with this country that rape survivors should be so stigmatized? It's no wonder so many survivors never speak up. Maybe if we all stood up and took back our power, teenage boys would learn what consent is.
