...and I'm seriously disappointed with this show. I don't care for any of the characters. Marcella is just painful. The ex husband also painful. All the other cops- not one interesting or redeemable feature. Not a single element of this show meshes with the others. It's jarring, and uncomfortably put together. The lead actress is not too great either, it's not just the plastic surgery, but something else, can't quite put my finger on it.

Big disappointment.

I agree, KarenJo84. I don't care about anyone in the show and don't care if anything happens to any of them (except to the children, of course).

But I also am puzzled about the last episode (Ep1.5)- where did
the delivery guy Ronnie come from and what part has he played (so far) in this
whole season? I just don't remember ever seeing him before... please refresh
my memory!!!

Nope, I cant remember him being in it before either... In fact half the cast seems to be random and I cant keep track of them or know why they are there. Almost tempted to give up on it, but I want to know what will happen if Marcella really did murder her husbands new girlfriend...

Ronnie is a new character. It can get so confusing. He was the hitman as well, I think. These people are all linked which seems so unlikely in London.

Another scene which I found puzzling was when Marcella was interviewing Cullen in a room at the Police Station.
How was he allowed to just sit alone in a room with her completely unhindered just like two friends meeting for coffee?
Bear in mind he had just killed Adrian and attempted to kill Maddy. Marcella was goading him, winding him up and even flirting with him and he could have lunged at her at any time.
Ok I know there was a one-way mirror and other officers could see and hear what was going on but it still could have resulted in an uncomfortable 10-12 seconds for Marcella if the non-handcuffed Cullen had attempted to attack her.

I think the show is pretty good. Episode five was a little shaky because now I worry the killer reveal will be disappointing.

We need some kind of big twist or something. Maybe Marcella and Jason working together?

As for Anna Friel, I think she's really hot, but maybe that's just me.
