So Anna Friel is coming back to tv. Big yay to that. No idea what the show is about though.

I've added some basic data to the series page now, plot outline, keywords, Tagline etc. so that should give you some idea.

Happy to help. 😊

Hopefully, once the series begins airing we can find some better photos to go with the series. The photo someone has kindly added to the page is merely a shot of Anna at the rehearsals/script read through.

Did you like it, Mark?

Sorry, I have only just noticed your reply - too busy adding data to every other British show on TV 

Yes, I thought it was a good first episode. Certainly intriguing enough to carry on watching.

I've watched every episode 6 times so far and I still don't get where it's supposed to go. I'm sick and tired of watching politically correct interracial relationships (I wouldn't dream of having a relationship with a black male, not because of the colour or background, race or speech pattern, (I spent my entire childhood living in Kenya amongst black Africans who are totally different from black Brits and Americans - none of them would dream of living mixed-race relationships and none of them are racist either) but because the culture clash will always work against a successful outcome - just look at the disasters that the real American mixed relationships are portrayed on a daily level), and I'm sick and tired of us following the American-style crime series with its increasing violence, more and more serial killers (we don't have that many serial killers in this country, simply not enough empty space to kill and hide enough AND a different culture overall). But what really annoys me is that there simply isn't enough story, enough explanation in the desperate attempt to go Swedish noir. Does anybody know what this series is about. I was SO excited to see a series with Anna Friel, one of our best actresses but I don't understand what it is meant to be about. Nor is anyone else in our family, btw.

I was very interested by your comments. I am American but spend a great deal of time outside of America. It is always interesting to see your homeland from another perspective. I don't even own a TV because I cannot stand the constant brainwashing propaganda present in our "news" programs and series. It is difficult to find any program, aside from what is offered on The Hallmark Channel, that is not centered around violence. I agree with you about the fact that there are just not that many serial killers in the world, let alone in the USA, but my fellow citizens seem to be fascinated by the extremely violent possibilities of what one human can do to another. It is very sad that nothing other than sex and violence can hold our interest. Sexual violence against women seems to be preferred. However, what brought me back to re-read your comment was what you said about interracial relationships. I was born in 1950, so I have seen interracial relationships come a long way. Perhaps it is because we are such a cultural melting pot of a nation that there are so many. I have countless friends who have very successful mixed marriages/relationships which have lasted decades. Many of these survived during a time when everything was against their success. They suffered and their children suffered, trying to find a place in which they fit. Now, I find that melding their cultural differences seems much easier and mixed race relationships are quite common place. I am white and have never been in a mixed race relationship. However, if my son fell in love with a woman of another race and they were happy, I would embrace the union. Thirty years ago, I would have warned him against the hardships faced by my friends who had followed their hearts, against the odds. Times have changed. Marriage and relationship can be difficult. My grandmother, the daughter of a Methodist minister, married an Irish Catholic and was disowned by her family. They were married for 50 years, but it was her family that caused the problems because of what they perceived to be deep cultural differences. She never saw her parents again. They never saw my mother or my uncle, let alone, us. How sad for them. The "clash" can be racial or religious or for any reason, whatsoever. I like seeing mixed couples on TV so that they will be common place to the next generation. You would never dream of participating in a mixed race relationship, but others seek them. Isn't it great that we live in a world where people can love who they want to love? Your remark made me think long and hard about my own beliefs and allowing others to embrace what they believe. Thanks.
