How did Cara get the trophies? Can someone please explain her story

I just finished the series last night. Really liked it, however after reading online there is one thing I still don't understand. How did Cara get the trophies and who killed her?

We see Cara using Sinnr and meeting a woman. The next day she wake's up in the woman's bed, steals the trophies and shortly thereafter she's threatened on the webcam.

I don't understand how she got the trophies from all of the victims? I got the impression that they were all at this woman's place and she took them all at once; or did she collect them one by one from all of them victims before they were murdered? How come she met up with the exact same people that were later murdered? That seems like a really lucky coincidence.

If she stole the trophies from the killer, was the woman the killer? When did she sleep with the killer and get the trophies, we didn't see it on camera?

As you can tell, I'm really confused by her part in the story. We see Clive Bonn logging in to Sinnr so we're under the impression that he may have met Cara, but it's Peter Cullen that collects trophies of victims, and later Henry Gibson...

I don't get it.

I don't get it either. At first I thought the bald guy from the beginning was the killer and so I assumed that was his wife, but now I know it's not him, I don't get it either

I think the person whom she got the trophies from is supposed to have been Henry Gibson. They didn't really go over that very carefully, we never saw him much at that time. But, remember, Peter Cullen is only the killer of the three or so people from around 2005, plus Maddy's boyfriend.

Cara may have been kind of a regular of Henry's for a little bit so got the trophies. I'm kind of surprised now that I think about it that he had trophies, as his goal apparently was to kill other people to make it look like Grace was just one of a serial killer's victims, so he wasn't really a serial killer therefore wouldn't have needed the trophies. Or maybe he really was a serial killer at heart and so his ambition was just an excuse to start killing.

What also surprised me was the discovery of the male victim's watch. Apparently his brother saw it in the jewelry store window. But that seemed odd that someone could actually recognize someone's watch unless it was really different. There were also some characters introduced whom we haven't spent much time on again so we don't have a sense of closure. So I think there will be more episodes. Maybe it will even turn out that Henry isn't the actual killer. There were a lot of characters introduced some of whom we haven't had a resolution with.

What I didn't understand was how could Henry have been so careless as to have Grace's locket lying about so that a prostitute could steal it. Or if he met Cara at a hotel why he would have it on him.

I assume he was holding on to it for the frame up later on

The blond girl was Cara. We saw her steal from the woman she slept with a d then take those items to the pawn shop. Those were not the trophies.

On another day, she returns to the pawn shop with another batch of stolen goods. This time they are the trophies from the murder victims. Therefore, we are left to assume Cara had another hookup from the internet site and this time it was with the killer.

As for why Henry would take trophies: He is deliberately trying to recreate the series of murders which took place in 2005. In those murders, the killer always took a trophy, so he was just sticking with the MO.

Why would he have them at his home? He had no reason to think anyone would suspect him, or go looking for them. And, as he planned to frame his friend Matthew for the crimes, he would need to have them later to incriminate Matthew.
