So i take it Marcella has some sort of....
Mental problems/psychosis.....?
And at the risk of being a bit thick - why did she move the body?

Thank goodness you mentioned all that Ila's I was thinking the same unless it all went over my head!?????
shareI don't think she even knows why she moved the body. She does things during blackouts.... like putting the plastic bag over Henry Gibson's head in tonight's episode.
shareAbsolute load of tosh, waste of good talent, ie Anna.
shareAh, but did she REALLY put the plastic bag over Henry Gibson? Could it not have been Tim Williamson, her new love interest who seems obsessed with her and worked with her in the 'old' plastic bag murder case? Could he not follow her around, see her in trouble, and do what he has to do to 'protect' her?

This was what I was wondering. Did she witness the murder? She moved the body during her blackout but that's all were led to assume. Also, what happened to Mo, the cabbie with the knife at her throat? Did he untie her and leave. No sign of him since she came around from her blackout.
I can only assume some threads are being left dangling to hopefully b answered in another series.
Yep,why did Marcella move the body? And what happened when the taxi driver had her tied up at knifepoint? For "blackout" read "copout".
shareI couldn't agree more. Most things were explained. I'm more than willing to fill in the blanks with a few things as this allows the viewer to feel like the show treats them with some intelligence, but I needed that one explaining. Guess we'll have to wait for season two if it gets one. ??
shareOn reflection, i can only assume she thought she had killed the sister her self as later in a proceeding episode a piece of evidence came to light that eliminated her from the actual murder. Unfortunately, cant remember what it was now. But i remember her acting all relieved and mentally punching the air. However the daft cow had hugely compromised the investigation and chain of evidence.

She found photos online of the murder victim (Grace) wearing the necklace that the escorts friend was wearing when picked up by the police.
shareIt's been utterly bemusing me. What the hell happened to Mo?. We saw him cut her throat a little - and that was that. She was free. Where'd he go. I waited two episodes for that
It was the only really nitpick I had. What the hell happened. I was even expecting it to end with him dead in Marcella's cupboard with a bag over his head in the last couple of seconds, but, no. No sign
I was waiting for something like that too, especially as she had the moment where she had a vision of Henry with a bag on his head. Hey ho. Let's see if it gets another season. Unlike American series where you know there's another one to come and accept loose ends/questions, don't know if this will get one. We'll just have to wait and see.
shareThe only real nitpick?!?! Other than the fact that her working the case was highly impossible because her husband's mistress was one of the murder victims! I mean why wouldn't they let her help solve that crime?!? Oh, I don't know because she and her estranged husband might break into the guy's house, assault and detain and torture and practically kill the guy on their own. It's not like she could taint every piece of evidence she touches, or have a blackout and compromise a crime scene. Or she maybe just seize some documents illegally.
She pretty much tainted every bit of this investigation and they kept giving her twelve more hours to "get" more evidence. It had to be because she was nuts and would kill them all if they didn't give into her 19th nervous breakdown. Holy moly were there so many things wrong with this series.
I know one thing. Next time I go on a serial killing jag in London, my defense attorney and I want Marcella within 50 feet of the case materials. Cuz, I am going scot-free for sure.
You cracked me up! I am still wondering where that other nutjob, the one supervising Cullen went. I mean he did have a stab would to the shoulder as he looked in the mirror... and yet no mention of him at all?
shareAs far as the cabbie, I think he must have believed her when she said she didn't kill his brother. He then made himself scarce, because he had assaulted a cop and was in the country illegally.

My theory is that she moved the body because she went to Grace's house (after the confrontation at the front door which was shown) and found her dead. I suppose she assumed it was her husband Jason that killed her and she moved the body to try and protect him.
Alternatively, Marcella could have just lost it after finding Grace dead, maybe getting frustrated/upset at having just missed the murderer, and she had a blackout. As we're not shown or know why she does whatever she does when she blacks out, that could explain her bizarre behaviour in moving the body.
i think you are right
shareI am going to guess that she has rage blackouts. Something makes you so mad that you aren't even aware of what you are doing. I doubt it's very common but I've heard of it..
shareI thought that the reason Marcella moved the body was that Grace and Jason were having an affair and she wanted to keep Jason out of the investigation- I guess to protect her children.
Free to those that can afford it, very expensive to those that can
Well, I guess I'm lost. I thought she moved it because she thought she had killed her out of jealous anger. Her way of hiding the evidence.
shareI agree with Tyler, she thought she herself was the killer.
She considered herself off the hook when the pendent Grace was seen wearing in photos turned up on the thief's roommate, who had received it from the dead thief, who presumably was killed by the killer because she knew his identity.
