So many questions (Spoilers!!)

I finished watching this today and I loved it, but the more I think about it the more questions I have... There seem to be so many plotholes and loose ends and I don't think I can go to sleep without posting this first:

Cara
I guess we're supposed to think Henry met Cara on that app thing, she stole the trophies from his house and then Henry went after her so he wouldn't get caught.
But why would Henry be on the app in the first place? It's supposed to be an app for people who want to cheat on their partners, while he doesn't seem to be in a relationship.
And then how did he find her? They showed someone asking about her on some website, I'm assuming that's supposed to be Henry asking. But even if he found out her real name, how would he know she was at the club? Marcella had to trick Cara's friend into finding out where she was, so how would Henry know. And even then, what was his plan? To wait outside for her to walk out alone so he could run her over with a car? If I remember correctly, the car came from around the corner as she was crossing the street, so did he just get lucky?

Or was Cara killed by another person altogether? I don't think Henry ever mentions her at all when he is being interviewed after he's been caught.

Boarding school
Sooo Marcella is supposed to have quit her job so she could be a stay-at-home mom. But then the kids get sent to boarding school. So there's no reason for her to stay at home? Of course they never really give any details about how long the kids have been attending boarding school, but you'd think them not living at home is a better reason to start working again rather then her husband leaving her.

Grace
Why did Marcella move the body? The timelime seems to be: Marcella visits Grace, leaves again at some point. Then Henry kills Grace and leaves the body at her home. Then Marcella comes back and moves the body? Why would she go back?
The only sort of explanation I can think of is that she had another blackout, didn't remember what had happened when she visited Grace. And then when she went back Grace was dead so she panicked and moved the body. And then she is in the bath and she didn't remember what happened AGAIN and went back AGAIN and panicked AGAIN? So double blackout? And why was she covered blood anyway? Whose blood?

El-Sayed brothers
Who killed Hassan and why? Mo obviously thought Marcella killed him, but the only thing Marcella seemed to be sure about not doing was killing him. Henry didn't seem to know anything about the brothers, nor can I think of how he would have found out. Even then he wouldn't have a reason to kill Hassan, since he only saw Marcella and not Henry.
And what happened to Mo? The last we saw of him, he had Marcella tied down and seemed pretty serious about avenging his brother. And then she wakes up with no other injuries than a little cut on her neck and any evidence that Mo was ever there seems to be gone.

May
Why did Henry kidnap May? He killed Beth because he wanted to set Matthew up and she was connected to him. But he didn't have a reason to kidnep May. If May had actually been staying over at Beth's that would have given him a good reason...but she wasn't. What was the plan there? Also he says that he didn't plan to kill her, but then why take her in the first place? The whole reason for him killing anyone besides Grace is to hide the fact that Grace was the real target. Kidnapping May just doesn't fit with that. Also why didn't the Dad just drop May of at Beths when he had to go to work?

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this because it was otherwise really enjoyable to watch.

Cara
The whole thing with her was something I couldn't think all the way through. At one point, I went back to all the scenes regarding her just to see if I missed anything. You even ask question I hadn't thought of, which makes it even more confusing and unclear.

Grace
Another scenario that didn't make sense to me, either. The writers wanted us to think she may have killed Grace, but it seems didn't think it through. I assumed she blacked out, left, heard about the death, blacked out again, and moved the body while in blackout mode in an effort to hide the murder she thought she had committed?

You got me. All excellent questions. By the time the series got to the end, I had forgotten all about the El-Sayed brothers.

May
Another thing that didn't make sense to me, either. And again, I can't figure out why he would take her.

I think in an attempt to keep the audience thinking, the writers erred and made the story to convoluted and dense. So much so, that they stumbled over their own writing which left it a mess. I still liked the show, though.

Cara

Why is he on app?
1) do you think ppl who are in relationship will only log into the app? No. Most sex starved uses app whether they are in relation or not

Killer hacks matthew's office computer and logs into the app. If ever caught, the lead points to matthew. But Cara steals his sisters locket which has cocaine (found in sisters blood). Probably she would have been drugged before the murdre. He kills cara so the investigation leads to matthew and he succeeds in framing matthew.

The way Cara is killed is to bring some thrilling factor and you need to suspend reality while watching such thrillers!!!!!!!

Boarding school

She is acting weird due to juliet's death. Jason is having an affair for 3 years and not spending time at home. Kids join boarding school as insisted by Jason ( Marcella points out this in one of the episodes).

Marcella wants to go back to work as 1) she is behaving weird after juliets death 2) alone as jason is not spending time at home 3) she thinks Cullen might b suspect as murders are similar to 2005 murders ( cullen might be indirectly a reason for juliets death)

May

It was clearly shown May did not sleep at Beths place as the bed looked like an unused one. This actually made Marcella to realize that her Dad lied and May did not sleep on the bed.
CCTV footage shows hoodie killer ( carrying May) coming from the right side of the road ie. from beths house. His plan does not have May's killing but she pops in at beth's house while murdering Beth. May would have walked in to beths house realizing her dad is not there and would have seen beth's murder. Henry kidnaps her. He does not like to kill his best friend n kids. He wants to improvize the plan which he is bad at as pointed out by marcella. He kidnaps May to keep her captivated in his house just like he did for matthew. But May bits her and he kills her

Marcella and sayad brothers

Read that marcella's personal life, blackout episodes, open ended plots are up for season2. Why do people want eveerything to be covered in season1 and complain about plotholes, loose ends while most of other series take 5-6 seasons to finish the complete story!!!!

All of these are my questions, ad well, and none of the offered answers by other posters work, because THE WRITERS need to tell us these things, not just leave it up to us to make up scenarios that don't exist (if they did exist, they'd have been in the show -- that's how writing works.)

The only answer is that we'll find out in series 2, which I can live with. But it sounds as if they weren't counting on a second show, which means that as engrossing as this program was, it ultimately failed.
