How this has almost a 7 out of 10 is baffling. Please do not waste your time with this one. Horrible acting. Cheesy and unbelievable plot. Not because they are killing high schoolers but because high schoolers are beating up grown adults that also happen to be armed. Couldn't make it through half way I had to turn it off. I assume YouTube is bumping the rating . that is is the only explanation for 10's and 9's. Its a 3 at best . horrible. Just horrible

Kids beating up the armed soldiers was far fetched but the primary "Kid" doing it was bigger than most of them and was a well built athlete.
Finally, may I suggest you finish it off. Don't judge a movie unless you watch the whole thing, it's like stripping off the corner of a painting and thinking you have a right to an opinion of it.
I enjoyed it, not a tremendous movie but perfectly watchable which based on the ending really badly needs a sequel otherwise it'll be yet another unfinished story 😵

nah im not going to finish the *beep* acting and stupid story-line make it absolutely impossible to watch. Of course you can turn movies off halfway. There's nothing redeeming about the movie. if i don't like the characters i have reason to want to see what happens to them. its called googling the ending which from what i read would've made watching the entire thing even more of a letdown. and please dont compare this art. you sound like a pretentious douche-bag. go away now

I've watched the whole thing (unfortunately). OP is being nice with his 3/10 this is a 1/10 if I've ever seen one. So incredibly bad.

Why not just put a limit on producing children?
You'd think that would be the most humane way to go. Even if it forced people to have abortions if a couple went over their limit of having children. That's better than killing kids. Or force every man and women to be snipped and tied up after their 3rd child.
They wanted the smartest kids to survive though to make America great. If they limit the births they might miss the next Einstein being born. I'm sure if they ever do have to keep the population down in the future they would go the route of allowing only 1-3 children.
