there some insane levels of nepotism going on right now

i don't know wtf is happening but it's like hollywood got hijacked by hacks. there are so many shit movies with decent budgets out now. i just can't believe these writers are getting these jobs. even i could write a better script than this. nothing in this makes sense. it's like all the story beats were decided beforehand then written to fit but it's completely irrational. there are already marauders after just 1 day of a disaster? what? girl goes with 2 old guys after just meeting them and they come in with a stolen police car? guy consoles his friend at the house then 10 seconds later stands up and say i have to leave. like who the hell writes like that? only he takes a shower at the house and the other two didn't. then they stop at some place and the girl jumps in a pool wtf? marauders could show up at any moment. they've been driving for only like 3 days and they need to raid a place for food already? the woman at the house should've had the food. some people hiding near the edge of a burning forest waiting to rob? lol what the fuck? they could've just asked for gas and driven out together. who else is gonna drive towards a fire if not rescuers? also the disaster has only been going on for 3 days, normal people arent gonna suddenly become robbers that fast. basically where i stopped watching to rant.

who are the assholes getting these writing jobs and doing the shittiest job imaginable?
