Forget politics. Enjoy the movie!
Can't people just watch the movie for what it is? All I see on this board is a lot of bla bla bla about the political issues behind the movie.
Have all you people who have scored it either 10 or 1 at least have seen it?
The movie is very good and it is neither left nor right wing.
After all, weren't there huge real state speculation over the years under Lula/Dilma administration?
Doesn't Sonia Braga's character says she owns 5 apartments in the movie?
Doesn't she, like most middle class Brazilian has a maid?
Are all white Brazilian who studies and lives abroad really evil and corrupt?
Only lefters fight against the system and powerful corporations?
Come on, let's grow up, stop the political blindness and really enjoy the film for what it is.
One thing are the political inclinations of the director and its cast.
But what you see on the big screen doesn't entirely reflect that.
