What a Joke

Another film that can't finish a story at all. I really enjoyed the pacing, acting, and story. It was all very good and then we come to the climax and it just ends. Just another film where the writers can't finish the story and leave things entirely open ended.

Was it all in his head and he came home after the train, did it all actually happen and he came home, was it a fantasy and he just left never to return home??? We will never know.

I don't understand this trend. Maybe it's seen as artsy, but I just don't get it. Why can't writers finish the story? Sometimes it works for small plot points and usually it doesn't involve the climax of the film, but here it does and it ruins the entire movie.
