Daniel's cousin Patricia
She's a beautiful woman. Hope to see her in season 2.
shareI'm still somewhat confused over who Patricia was and whether she knew everything about her "cousin" Daniel. I thought that her being a cousin was a cover story at first--that perhaps she had been Daniel's lover and that her son was hers and Daniels, a parentage that they had decided to keep secret because of Daniel's dangerous work. She also didn't get hysterical when it was clear that Julian had taken her hostage. Unlike most people, she kept her cool, to the point of establishing a dialogue with Julian and asking him questions about his relationship with Hector. Most hostages would have been hysterical, wondering if they were going to be murdered.
Also, why was Hector even pursuing her, trying to woo her? I don't believe he had any sincere romantic interests in her; he appeared deeply committed to Clare. But he had Julian follow her and disclose her location so he could pretend to bump into her at the restaurant.
A loose end.
I hope you understood she is really his cousin when Daniel, Patricia and her son meet for dinner. Yes she kept her cool, maybe because she thought Hector wouldn't harm her and that he would stop Julian. I think she kept her cool because they wrote her character as a strong women as she's a single mother.
