read the book today Bryan Smith's '68 kill' ...OMG, Matthew is Chip. And the character is nothing like Spencer Reid. I totally get why he wanted to play this character, it's such a departure from his geeky nerdy profiler.

It's gritty though. If the film's true to the book, I'm not sure I'll be able to watch Matthew getting the crap beaten out of him to the point where he almost dies. *clutching stuffed animal*

yeah....the motel room scene. the over the hood of the car scene. the stockroom of the convenience store scene.

Right! Oh I hope they do it justice. I'm glad they are recognizing him for more than just a Spencer role. That is proof of his talent that he isn't type-casted.
