Hans seems to lose his shirt in every episode. Is this an attempt to cash in on the (admittedly over-exposed in every sense) feeding frenzy regarding Aidan Turner's topless scything, perhaps?

Lol, it seems it could be, but I must admit that I've hardly noticed those scenes, to be honest. Anyway, Aidan Turner beats him hands down in my books, I've adored him since I first saw him in Being Human many years ago...drool!! 😘

Of course you can see more of Aidan, literally, in 'Desperate Romantics' - back and front if my old memory serves me correct.
