Can Control...or Hal9000...or T-1000...or Jason...or Freddie end this already?

I really am rooting for Control at this point. We're fighting an artificial intelligence for the future of our planet! (Sorry, meant future of our galaxy, humankind, or the universe. Whatever.)

Also, nobody dies in this show. They all come back; except Captain Lorca and Airiam, both of whom I'm confident will be returning at some point. From now on, if you die, we'll just toss you or a couple strands of your DNA into the spore network, and, ta-da!, it's a new you. Kind of. (They should have gone down the Pet Sementary re-animation route for this one. It would been more interesting than what's happening now.)

In every sci-fi time-travel show or movie I've watched, the bad guy or bad robot, or bad entity, also has the ability to travel through time. Isn't this what Control is going to do once Burnham and co. take off for the future?

One more thing regarding Airiam before I hop off my rambling soapbox: Why didn't anyone from Discovery lock-on and transport Airiam to Discovery from space once she was ejected from the airlock on Control? I understand Control had a shield around its station, but once she was free of the interference, she could have been saved.
