I kind of like Jason Segal ...
but in this movie his jaw hangs so loose like he is mentally challenged or something ... slack-jawed moron. His character is not supposed to be. The parts are maybe miscast because none of them look particularly like scientists or great thinkers ... especially Jesse Plemmins.
This is a vehicle to ponder some of life's questions, and the actors are kind of not even needed. It would have been better with complete unknowns, because with all these folks you expect something more or better.
