Set in rural Scotland yet barely anyone has a Scottish accent?????

Posh Edinburgh can be less Scottish but rural farmers would have strong accents...

Well, one family is meant to have moved there from England. The other family largely have Scottish accents apart from the Eric Cantona double playing the dad who's Irish.

Drove me crazy. Is there a shortage of good Scottish actors? Not at all.

The lack of strong Scottish accents really intruded on all four episodes even though the acting was excellent. There's no excuse for not using the wealth of available Scottish actors.
