Kind of dull.

Agree. They have tried to make some antagonists and they are not very interesting.

1. The only thing the Chartist plotline has going for it so far is that the actress playing Abigail is good-looking. The rest feels rushed and contrived.
2. The Queen's half-sister is quite annoying.
3. Lord Palmerston is annoying.
4. The good-looking new footman is annoying.

I hope things improve.

Actually, I find Lord Palmerston to be very sexy. Everyone you mentioned is annoying. I wish they'd spend more time on Victoria and Albert and the kids.

I was going to say "no." But then I went to YouTube to look it up https://youtu.be/1VVCPdqAv7k and realized that I had seen it AGES ago. It must have been in the late 1970's around the time when I was addicted to shows like "the Forsythe Saga" and "I, Claudius."

Love "I, Claudius". If they had made it today,they would have blown the budget on sets, special effects and clothing. Instead, back in the 1970's,all they had to rely on was great acting and shaky sets.

Second viewing of Episode 3 I liked Palmerston better.

I thought Episode 4 was solid, my favorite so far.
