Question about Oliver
At the end of the episode whose car did he get into? It said President on the back and he was driving from the right side of the car instead of the left.

shareThat might've been his own car from 20 years ago which Melanie kept, waiting for Oliver to wake up. This would fit the timeline since it's Nissan President which was produced 1965 - 2010. That would be my guess cause Oliver speaks with british accent, and the car has a steering wheel on the right side. I figure he brought the car with him from UK.
I wonder if the car plate is also typically british.
Ahhh ok that would make sense. Thanks :)
shareI also think the whole driving on the other side and make and/or look of the car is all a part of the time ambiguity they've set their world in.
shareYeah I wasn't sure if it might just be another unexplained weird part of the show or it was something obvious that I missed.
shareI took it as just being consistent about that because I remember reading or hearing Hawley and the production designer talking about the timeless feel of it...and that their big annoyance or thing to avoid was cars because seeing one can immediately place you in a certain time.
So, I suppose when it comes time for them to use them they try to be all over the place with it to keep that aesthetic and feel up as much as possible hence you get the American and European style cars, some that seem older while others are newer, etc....seems to be how they tried to tackle that design obstacle.
