Anybody watch both Legion and Mr Robot?
Am I the only one that sees comparisons in how Mr. Robot show is produced? Fan of one, gotta be fan of the other right

shareNooo, the comparison has been made a lot. I've run into a few fans of both so I'd say there is a high likelihood of crossover there. I personally watch and LOVE both! I agree that it makes sense that if you'd like one you'd most likely dig the other as well.
They're different stylistically and definitely in their own worlds, but the ambiguous reality, shaky time frame and unreliable narrators certainly bridge the gap for their similarities. They both are also two of the best shows tv has to offer right now, imho 😉
totally agree. When I found MR.Robot I realized it was unique and there is nothing similar out there, but now Legion changed my mind.
shareI do. While Mr. Elliot has some issues, Legion's David is batshit crazy.

I struggled with Mr Robot a bit to be honest. And I'm still not cought up with season two.
There definitely are similarities, though. But Legion is more... fantastical, I feel. Which is something that appeals to me more.
There's nothing really like it, but I find *some* similarities with things like Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, The OA and Pushing Daisies for some reason (maybe it's the retro/not really set in a particular time period thing)
Pushing daisies for sure with the 'can't touch the girl I love' thing. I also thought Mr. Robot when I saw Lenny... Immediately suspected she wasn't real. The Matrix too, with the memory artist. I've only seen two episodes so far.
I think it feels like he could still actually be crazy and telling himself somehow 'this is real' but definitely behind on the show. But it's enjoyable.
Yes, Pushing Daisies also had the "Can't touch this" thing going on. Strangely similar in some respects those two.
While watching Mr Robot I thought of Fight Club. I thought "They're doing a Tyler Durden thing with Christian Slater". I need to watch season two already :D
I'm caught up with Legion, and I'm still convinced he's a bit crazy. It's definately a very enjoyable show.
Love them both.
