It will be in a parallel universe. But, anything can happen. This whole show sounds so crazy and epically amazing! I can't wait! The age of mutants is coming!

Meaning they could(wishful thinking) possibly bring back a few members of the X-men, recast them for the show. Possibly mess around with Fantastic Four tv rights, if Legion is successful.

As it would turn out this *will* be set in the movie universe, but don't expect characters from the movies to pop up, however there's a rumor of Professor X...

They should have Professor X. It's the elephant in the room not dealing with David's anger issues toward his dad.

I'm assuming this takes place in the early 70's (based on the fashion choices here)?

There were so many mutants in XMDOFP, I wouldnt be opposed to one or two crossing paths with him if it could be done in an organic, non-cheesy way.

Havok (RIP should have never been killed) after he came back from Vietnam, or maybe one of the cool people from his mutant unit, like Ink (he has the weirdest powers, honestly!), or Toad. Maybe one of them has PTSD from the war and is in the same mental hospital as David? It would have to make sense and not be done in a way that was too blatantly fan service.
