Throughout the film there are several times where church members would show up with cameras saying they were making their own documentary about Louis/his film. Did they actually make one? I'd love to see this story from their perspective. Just for laughs mainly lol

Highly doubtful. Filming was just used as an intimidation tactic. If any of what they filmed is watched, it's just to inform those "inside" of what's going on.
shareWhen Time Magazine did an expose on Scientology, back in 1991 I think, Scientology went into overdrive. I can't remember how long it took, but if I remember rightly it was only a matter of weeks before they released something that was styled to look very much like Time magazine itself, where they told you how wonderful Scientology is, and how corrupt and nasty Time magazine and everyone connected to Time was and how unfair Time was for 'picking' on Scientology.
