I've yet to see the film but I noticed her name in the IMDb cast listing. Why is she in it? Is she interviewed about scientology? What happens with her in the film?

She literally walks into their hotel unannounced and is like "I'm Paz. I'm an actress. You guys filming something." She seemed high. It was weird.

I just saw this in a crowded movie theatre and this scene got the biggest laughs, as it was utterly bizarre. So that's probably why.

There was some concern, in the moment, that she was there to spy on them. It was clear that no one knew who she was, and that's just that they weren't familiar with her, not some kind of statement about her relevancy.

louis knew who she was. the scene was staged. why? someone should ask him about it
she isnt connected to the scions. kinda shocked that some here dont know who she is
and dang, she has let herself go

It wasn't staged . It was just absurd and random . Louis had no idea who she was . He discussed it with joe rogan on his podcast.( recent one )

If you look on her imdb profile she has loads of film credits to her name. I reckon she was passing, say a film crew and thought maybe I can some work on on whatever it is they're filming.

It's Paz...she was probably drugged and drunk out of her mind. This is how I imagine her everyday life is, just living in a hotel and walking into random rooms.

 Language! The thing that means stuff.

They thought she was spying for the Scientology people.

How did *SO MANY* people miss that?

I've never heard of her, but I guessed that she saw a camera and was just attention seeking. And on the movie's side of things, they just thought it had something to do with spies, plus, it put a little drama in it too if they played along.

She's not a Scientologist. Alcohol and drugs are anathema to them.
She's a notorious lush whose career has gone downhill over the years.

I guess she was hanging out there, was wasted, saw the camera and went after it. The kind of thing Courtney Love would do.

In the movie, Louis speculated that Scientology sent her over as "a honeypot", but Marty assured him they're not that sophisticated.

What's weird it she shows up, knocks on the window, enters and says "You can't film me.". Utterly bizarre. I had to stop the movie and see if what I was watching was even remotely real.
