I adore mythology, especially of the ancient world, and even though this is animation and fictional, the history and the settings are very interesting.
The animation was really good, and the entire film looked beautiful.
I just didn't like Sisu's voice. Sounded like an 80 year old lady. Would've preferred a more girly voice. Also, the small kid and the monkeys, they were irritating.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed this movie.
I was surprised by this. Even though the story and particularly the ending were predictable, I found the film entertaining and well paced. The animation and music were outstanding imo. Overall, a good watch.
shareI really liked the film, although may have been biased since it was my first time in a theater in a long time.
My only criticism is that I didn't like the sassy dragon. It looked like a weird sort of poodle-dragon hybrid and felt a bit too "down with the kids", like a Dreamworks film would be.
I enjoyed it too. The animation was great. I liked the characters. The con baby was my favourite.
