I don't think I have ever heard the C word on a television show.

They say it hundreds of times in the Rickey Gervais Netflix show “After Life”. I assume it might be more commonplace in the UK.

Yes it's definitely more common in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. I know that from some "personal" experience, that isn't appropriate for discussion here in Prime Time.
