1st season great now zzzzzz
This turned into a slowburn real fast seems like their bringing in too many characters and focusing on them too long and it's boring just my 4 cents

shareWatch the Tom Clancy crap with that Blunt-fuçker if you can't handle the lack of explosions.
shareYeah, its a boring and extremely slow paced dull season. And not just story and tempo wise, the characters were all over the place, unconvincing and changing on the spot. Very poor writing.
First season was leagues better.
Yep. I’ve talked about this elsewhere. The characters were indeed “all over the place.“ It felt rushed. Like they wrote the damn thing in a hurry. And they shouldn’t have.
shareI tried to watch the first episode and tapped out about halfway through.
I intend to go back and try again but it really is not a good start to the season. I'm hoping it gets better, but as second seasons often tend to lack the magic of first seasons I can't say I'm especially hopeful.
How many topics did you open on this?
So don't watch then, if you can't appreciate how a story develops.
Well, “don’t watch then” is good advice but why couldn’t you have given it a week ago??? I could’ve used it on Friday before I wasted 10 hours of my life on that slow, meandering, make-it-up-on-the-fly b.s. that was Season 2 of Ozark. Why the heck are you only weighing in with your advice NOW?! I’m not kidding! It’s like you’re throwing me a life jacket after I’ve already gone under! (Don’t you know how thoughtless that is??!!)
shareBecause I just finished watching season 2 now and thought it was just as impressive as the first (in fact I'd say in some ways - even more so).
You are behaving bizarrely right now, attacking someone for not warning you about something they haven't even seen.
OK. That explains it. I apologize. I just assumed you had seen it several days ago. My mistake.
shareYou do realize that I still wouldn't have provided any kind of warning considering we have opposing opinions on the season, right?
I have to say, this behavior you are exhibiting kinda invalidates your POV entirely.
You’re wrong. But just to see if your point was valid, I made a list of my 10 favorite movies and, mustering all the detachment I could (which was considerable) I went ahead and evaluated each one — and realized they were all fantastic.
Then I did the same with my 10 favorite novels, plays, and TV shows.
All fantastic.
Long story short, I have impeccable taste. So my reservations about season 2 of OZARK are incredibly — indeed, almost scientifically — well-founded.

I don't know that I have a favorite, there are so many great shows, but thanks, another one who just totally invalidated any prior points they may have made.
Overall I liked season 2 but I did feel it dragged at times. Particularly episodes 7 and 8 felt really slow. I think the episodes were in general just a bit too long. They probably could've gotten each down to the 45-50 minute mark and really not lose anything from the storytelling.
