Younger and older versions of characters not believable

Seems really strange that Hallmark doesn't try harder to make younger and older versions of characters look somewhat alike. I know it's just a predictable chick flick, but one can only suspend disbelief so far. There is no possibility that the actor who played young Ben would, from the age of 19 to 34, turn out looking like the other actor. Absolutely no similarities other than they're both male. One does not usually get shorter at that age; neither does one's nose get noticeably smaller. It's either laziness on Hallmark's part or they just don't care about their viewers.

I was struck by that, too. People don't change that much in fifteen years. It was very odd to have actors who looked nothing like the leads portray them at an earlier age. I wish these movies weren't made so much on the cheap. It shows.

Totally agree. It stood out like a sore thumb.

That was so obvious it was ridiculous. I still like the movie. It almost seemed that the older Joe should have been Ben and vice versa.
