Waiting for plot twist that never arrives :(

As everyone else has said, the atmosphere of this film is gorgeous and the background score/sound effects are haunting. Sadly, the plot is thin as paper; the screenplay writers clearly gave up on themselves. Anyone expecting answers, a clever ending or a surprise plot twist will be disappointed. You get nothing!

Indeed this is a terrible film without any purpose avoid like the plague

Certainly, not every story/film needs a "twist". Not at all.

However, the point remains, that this film didn't really...HAVE a point.

It had a girl with very drab, dead (purposefully) narration, a creepy effect where her voice sounds like it's "breaking up" (bad signal, etc.) sometimes, the vague hint of connection and a "loop" with that house, etc. But ultimately, unless you just like some piece of art whose "experience" leaves you feeling a bit creeped out, with ONE major "WHAT THE *beep*" scare moment near the end, otherwise...the movie didn't go anywhere.

It was just an artsy experience in creepiness, with little real substance.

Yeah, exactly. They basically revealed what would have been the twist in the first 5 minutes, which led me to believe there was going to be more. Sadly, there wasn't. I wonder if the opening dialogue was meant to hide a twist in plain sight, the way M. Night might do.
I don't mind the slow story, which contained so much brilliant mood and ambiance. The symbolism of being blurred was clear, but almost too superficially displayed.
I can't say I'm disappointed with having watched the film, but I probably won't re-watch it looking for nuances.
