The upside down chair in the kitchen....????

did i miss something or...???
when Lily is on the phone in the beginning of the film talking to her friend we see a wooden chair that is floating(?) upside down, yet Lily doesn't notice it at all even when she's looking in it's direction.

The chair is hung on a peg on the wall upside down to avoid getting dust on the seat. It's an old Shaker custom.

it is? oh, oops! lol. i feel silly now. :)
i had no idea they did that with furniture. at least now it makes sense why Lily didn't freak out about an upside down chair! :)
