I must be a psycho wishing they kept one of alternative endings

I must of thought the quote on quote happy ending was too easy and possible anticlimactic and I feel like punching the people who are all keep saying that they like that Chris won in the face for some reason.in one of the alternative endings Chris is in the sunken place with the blind guy possessing his body when Chris's friend find him.I wonder if stuff can be re conned for the possible sequel or we could get a prequel but I have a feeling the sequel will have different antagonists and a different boyfriend/girlfriend.

I felt that the ending was anti climatic. The way it ended was too quick.
I wanted the police to show up, arrest Chris and Chris has to explain what happened there. Then his friend shows up at the police station to collaborate Chris's story.

Ooh that sounds like a way better ending! Reminds me of Black Mirror. I wonder why they changed it? I loved the movie but felt a little let down at the end.
