I have a feeling...
...that this is a comedy, however, is being marketed as a serious thriller in order to take the p**s out of the genre, Hollywood, and those assuming that it is a serious film even further.
shareidk Jordan Peeles said he took the film pretty seriously. He did say it had comedic moments but it's more of a satirical horror. It's not like a straight up comedy.
